The Storm Water Coordinator is responsible for planning, developing, and managing the City of Auburn’s storm water program, including daily operations and administration of the City’s NPDES Phase II Permit. This position ensures compliance with state and federal regulations and helps protect local water quality through inspections, maintenance, education, and outreach.

This position performs a variety of unskilled tasks related to the maintenance and repair of all city property and systems. The incumbent in this class is trained on an on-going basis in the use of all equipment within the department. Work is directly supervised both in progress and upon completion by the Maintenance Foreman.
