Public Library

Library

The Auburn Public Library got its start many years ago because of a young girl's love for books. Ms. Miriam Wood as a child would wait for impatiently to get books delivered because there was no library in town. When Ms. Miriam became an adult and an educator, she made it her goal to have a library for Auburn. From the humble beginnings in a small trailer to the beautiful facility we have now, the Auburn Library has grown to become the "Place to Be" for the community.

Auburn Library hosts programs for kids and adults – from the Sit & Knit Club to the LapSit Story Time and Adult Book Club, from the Magic Show and Petting Zoo to Molly the Cow – there is something for every age.
